Isabell Bowling is an author, speaker, and Bible teacher passionate about helping people live the full life Jesus promised.

Growing up in a multigenerational ministry family, Isabell developed a deep love for the Word and for people. Her desire is to continue her grandmother, Marilyn Hickey’s, legacy by inspiring believers everywhere to experience the great joy and transforming power of living in the Word each day.

Isabell holds a degree in Historical & Philosophical Theology and Modern Hebrew from Oral Roberts University, where she was named Outstanding Theology Student of the Year. In 2023, Isabell stepped into a powerful teaching role at Miracle Word Ministries with Marilyn Hickey. Gifted in languages and communication, Isabell preaches at churches and conferences, hosts her grandmother’s daily television program, ministers at healing meetings, and leads international ministry tours. In 2026, Isabell released her first independently authored book, Linger: A Year in His Presence, a powerful 365-day devotional.

Q&A WITH ISABELL BOWLING

What is God teaching you right now?
He is teaching me the importance of Him. I have never been busier or had so many things going on all at once, and it is taking a lot more from me to stop and behold Him. But, at the end of the day, if my priority isn’t worshiping Him, attending to His presence, and seeking His counsel, everything I do will fall apart. I am learning to trust Him with my time, to worship first, and to work later.

What is your biggest dream?
Right now, my biggest dream is to learn to never leave the presence of God. I want to learn to be aware of Him at all times, which is a very exciting dream. Right after that, I want to hit the New York Times best seller list. I loved writing Road to Wholeness with my mom, and I am looking forward to seeing how He will use my passion for writing and my love of fiction.

Where do you see God moving in your generation?
Oh man, I see His fingerprints everywhere! As I have begun to grow into who He has called me to be, I have also seen my friends find their passions and callings and then step into them. Gen Z is a generation of action, and to see my peers start projects, ministries, books, churches, and consistently give the glory to God is powerful. I have noticed that many of us have an incredibly complicated relationship with the church, so I see a hunger to protect the bride of Christ.

I have had the honor of mentoring many people and I have seen God move in wonderful ways. One of my favorite people to mentor is my granddaughter, Isabell. It has been my greatest joy to help Isabell grow into the woman God has called her to be.
